Double-cylinder hydraulic press machine MUSCLE DUO KPRZ-400M.04 can mount and dismount any type of wheelset with wheels, brake discs, gears and bearings. It is applied for different wheelsets (cargo, passengers, locomotive, trams, metro and ect.) with very high productivity.
The quality of press conjunction of railway wheels is estimated using diagram of pressing-in, that is why the press has a device for recording diagram “pressure-space”.
The press is equipped with controller, which allows programming the main technological parameters, authorizing users, saving in memory all relevant operator’s actions, etc.

A special feature of the press is the movable center beam. It not only moves horizontally, but also has the ability to move out of the press area and to move to the side to make room. The crosshead itself has two pressure brackets. One can be used for pressing and the other for unpressing. Or for pressing different elements.

To improve the quality of the press and the repeatability of the cycle, the most advanced solutions have been applied in the press. These include axle centering. After the carriage loads the wheel axle into the press, the hydraulic cylinders' extension centers lock the axle to the press centerline. The centers have interchangeable 90- and 60-degree cones for different axle types.
